Our head honchos and super-sibling duo, Kevin and Jin, began a-thread with the vision of creating a fashion AND community minded business. They combined over 10 years of retail and business expertise, and experience working with major brands and retailers, to branch out and create a-thread.

We’re not that complicated, really.

One – we know what it feels like to be busy, and if there’s one thing that slows us ladies down in the morning, it’s figuring out what to wear. That’s why we want to provide women everywhere with fashion that’s comfortable, cute, and lasting! Here, we focus on fashion that doesn’t fade. We’ll help you stock up on trend-INSPIRED clothes that you can mix, match and wear for seasons.

Two – we are more than just a fashion minded community. Our motto here is to “shop and effect” – which means you can look good, while doing good. It’s easy to put off giving back because you might think that you can’t “do enough” or “it won’t make a difference.” But consider this:  a 25 dollar donation to Kiva can help a man feed his entire family. A 10 dollar donation to LA Animal services goes straight towards providing food and medical treatment for a pup, kitty, rabbit or other furry friend. A 5 dollar donation to Thirst Relief provides a person with clean water for 25 years.

The few dollars we donate here and there add up to big dollars that changes lives.That’s why a-thread pledges (scout’s honor!) that 5% of every sale will go straight to the charity of your choice.
